The BFE Community

We have a thriving community of members who interact, sharing their knowledge and experiences, and make the site what it is today. There are a number of ways of getting involved, which are all outlined below:

• AIS
  A live map showing the position of vessels located in the English Channel and beyond.

• Events
  We run a number of events over the year, sometimes group crossing to France and sometimes just calendar sales. Either way, we will keep the next event listed here and provide all the information you need to know about it.

• Forums
  The forum is a place to pull up a chair and discuss everything from the latest rumours surrounding cross-channel travel to the options available to passengers with children. There are sections for people to post comments, ask questions or just discuss the latest politics. It is a friendly and informative place to spend your time.

• Gallery
  The gallery allows members to upload and share photos.

• Links
  A directory of links to sites that may be of interest to our members.

• Members Map
  The Members Map is an opt-in service allowing the members of the site to publish their location (or thereabouts) to a shared community map.

• Nostalgia
  A new wiki based section which allows all members to contribute to the archive of data on Brittany Ferries and their past vessels.

• Reviews
  Members can post reviews of their crossings and read what others have to say about their next port of arrival or booked ferry crossing. They are impartial, with known industry members unable to contribute, and provide a quick overview of the various options available to you, based on other members' experiences.
